Mora Angora's Fall Tidings
As autumn has arrived, with warm hues of leaves gently falling, it's a wonderful time to pause, take a deep breath, and reflect on all the things we're grateful for in the past year. With a heart full of appreciation, we're excited to share some updates in our first Mora Angora's Fall Tidings newsletter.
Our summer was wonderful! We watched as beautiful bunnies grew and found their forever homes! One of the greatest joys of running Mora Angora (Aside from the soft, fluffy snuggles) has been the opportunity to meet kind and caring individuals who share our love for these adorable creatures.
We have been fortunate to connect with people from all walks of life (New York to California), and we've been amazed by the lengths to which they'll go to ensure that our bunnies have the most loving and nurturing homes.
The bonds we've formed with these wonderful people are as heartwarming as the bunnies' tales of finding new families. It warmed our hearts to see these gentle souls hop into the arms of families eager to provide them with a forever home.
However, it wasn't all sunshine and rainbows. The kindling season brought its fair share of challenges. Despite our best efforts, we faced some difficulties along the way. But we kept our spirits high, knowing that every challenge was just another opportunity to learn and grow.
As the days grow shorter and the nights colder, we plan fewer litters but we were blessed with 2 litters of precious baby bunnies, on October 23, 2023 that are doing well. Bunnies in spring/summer are wonderful as life is budding all around - but bunnies in the fall and winter are extra special. These adorable, soft bundles of joy filled our hearts with hope and happiness like rays of sunshine. They will be ready to hop on to you December 18, 2023.
Speaking of hopping on, we have 3 special bucks that are ready for new yards and laps! We spend a lot of time with our bunnies, their personalities, temperaments and coats are all unique!
1. Peaches: The Playful Charmer
Peaches is playful and charming bunny that is sure to steal your heart. He loves playtime and making you laugh with his antics! His endearing personality and bright, soft coat make him impossible to resist.
If you're in search of a furry friend that will bring joy and laughter to your home, Peaches is your bunny! (He does have two floppy ears, he was just being goofy).
2. Knight: The Adventurous Explorer
Knight is a curious and adventurous bunny with a heart full of wonder. His bold, inquisitive, full of life nature makes him a unique addition to any family. Knight is always up for an adventure and is seeking a home that will let him explore the world around him.
If you are looking for a bunny that is the complete opposite of timid, Knight is your bunny!
3. Dallas: The Gentle Fluff Ball
Dallas is a gentle fluff ball with a heart as big as his beautiful coat. This sweet bunny loves lounging in the sun and snacking on his favorite treats.
He's a sweet bundle of joy with beautiful light coat and blue/grey eyes. He is great for grooming and is just happy hanging out.
If you're interested in a bunny that is distinguished and calm, Dallas is for you!
These lovely bunnies, Peaches, Knight, and Dallas, have been discounted in price, hopefully, making it easier for caring families to welcome them into their hearts and homes for the cozy days ahead.
As temperatures cool, our focus shifts from baby bunnies to all the luxurious wool we've harvested from our bunnies.
Our spinning wheel will be humming as we sit by the fire, sipping hot cider. The soft, warm wool from our bunnies will keep us cozy through the colder months. It truly is a testament to the beauty and utility of nature's gifts.
We're grateful for every moment, every challenge, and every triumph that has brought us to this point. As we look ahead, we're excited to see what the future holds for Mora Angora.
